Santa Cruz!
In the 80s, my fond high school years, I remember driving down to Santa Cruz with friends to the Coors Coldwater Classic Surf competition every year. We wore our UGGS and our Gap jean jackets! Yes, we wore UGGS way back when they were actually cool and undercover. We would sleep in the car and drink Corona. Good memories.
I took a drive down to SC yesterday and met up with two of my awesome friends who live there. The ocean reinvigorated me beyond words and its power brought me clarity on a few things I've been dealing with in my head... Verve coffee on 41st was a must stop for THE best coffee and THE most scrumptious chocolate chip cookie. Rio Del Mar Beach is a great beach to hang out at and in my opinion a very chill place to be. If you live in the Bay Area, take a day trip down. Dip your feet in the ocean. Breathe in the crisp sea air. You can walk for miles on Rio Del Mar beach. Fun in the sun for you and your hon!
